Market in Edo State (Region: Ewu)

The Ewu community market is located in Ehalen, Ewu. Farmers bring their produce to sell; traders purchase goods from farmers or wholesalers, and some traders buy directly from manufacturers to sell to customers. Various services are also offered in the market, such as grinding pepper and tomatoes, shoe repairs, and making window and door curtains.

On market day, transport workers experience increased demand, working from the early hours of the morning until the evening when the market closes. They usually earn more on this day compared to other days.

I wouldn't say an underground either, because an underground environment could feel suffocating due to low oxygen and the fear of collapse. No doubt, some people fear collapse because there are still people who have never been underground, lived in one, or even experienced walking through o...

A day at the Atlantic Author: Razzak Osemobor Date: September 9, 2026 Mad Wave – Swimwear, Goggles & Swimming Equipment “Let’s visit the beach in two days.” A friend of mine raised the idea, and we accepted it. Then I reflected on an experience I had back in my school days. Bar Beach was mostly the first choice for pupils who wanted an excursion site, apart from places like the museum, trade fair, and so on. On that fateful day, we started our journey and eventually got to the Eti-Osa area of Lagos State, somewhere around the Abraham Adesanya, Ajah axis. Ajah, Lagos, is home to several beach resorts. As we drove along the street, I wondered why they all seemed to lie horizontally. Apart from knowing that it was a coastal area, I began to meditate on whether this might be due to the vast water bodies appearing in that linear progression.
