Part 3.
- Crutches, wheelchairs, and prosthetics: People with disabilities use crutches, wheelchairs and prosthetics to aid mobility.
- Escalator: This is a common feature in airports and malls. Escalators facilitate movement between the floors of a building.
- Rope:Thick ropes are used for movement between structures and can be essential for emergency rescues, especially when lower floors are inaccessible or engulfed by fire.
Controls to movement.
To maintain orderliness, certain mechanisms are used in various places to control movement.
1. Stanchion: A stanchion is an iron post with a rope or belt commonly used in banks, hotels, airports and other public places to manage crowds and organize long queues.
- Inventory and Access Control: Movement is controlled by recording the identities of individuals and the purposes of their visit. Access control gates and doors equipped with these features such as interlock systems, biometrics, or card readers are used in some organizations to regulate building access.
- Warning signs and caution barriers: These are indicators on paper or tape to inform us of unauthorized access, line of fire, and potential hazards.
Every life cycle is characterized by growth, which involves movement. Movement is, and will always remain a fundamental component of life.
