Football Episode 2.

Store luggage with ease on every travel destination to available countries at Radical Storage.

After school hours, children living in urban areas head to courts with different layouts for a few sports. These layouts are often designed and constructed to include a football field. In some urban areas without these facilities, children play on roads—though this is both dangerous and discouraged—as well as on virgin land, within home premises, and on streets in villages and emerging towns. Fond memories from these moments include seeing kids mimicking a football idol they admire.

In my case, I mimicked Rashidi Yekini, trying to improve my scoring prowess. Others mimicked J.J. Okocha, attempting to mesmerize with his stunts and dribbles; some mimicked Diego Armando Maradona known for his one-on-one multiple dribbles and pace; some admired Rivaldo and Ronaldo Nazario for their signature step-over skills. All these players featured in the 1994 World Cup competition in the U.S.A. At that stage, it was every child's dream to become a star one day, imagining a future of playing in national games and international clubs.

But this is the mystery of ambition: many aim for this achievement, not only in football but in other sports as well.
