"It is not nineteen forever," a glaring caption in white text inscribed on a red cloth, was held by some fans prior to the match with Tottenham at Anfield. Also visible were popular slogans such as "YNWA: You'll Never Walk Alone," portraits of legends—especially Kenny Dalglish and the modern-day idol Mohamed Salah, nicknamed "Mo Salah." All these swayed to and fro, held by passionate supporters who were gearing up for yet another Premier League title.

Xabi Alonso, the taker, scored on a rebound after his initial penalty was saved.

At that moment, I observed a balance and sighed with relief—something extraordinary was about to unfold. After extra time, Milan lost to Liverpool 3–2 on penalties.
